White bookcases are extremely popular right now and can be purchased at almost any local store where as just a few years ago most bookcases you found were just the standard wood color and pattern, so why the fascination with white? A tall white bookcase is one of the more popular styles I see, even more so than the antique ones. They usually start between four and six feet high and have about as many shelves usually spaced about one foot apart. These are great for kids rooms and offices where you have a lot of stuff that you want to organize and keep off the ground. When it comes to price you can really spend as little or as much as you want. Quality plays a big part, but most range from $50-$300 dollars.

Small White Bookcase

Small white bookcases are a better choice if you want to hang them on the wall or even on top of a larger desk. I personally have two smaller two shelf white bookcases hung in my office for some of the often used items like my pens and CD’s. They work great and are very inexpensive.
